At the end of a release detailing the features of the Playstation 3, Sony included the following sentence: "The integrated Cell processor will be able to support a variety of operating systems (such as Linux or Apple's Tiger)."
This news has ignited talk that the Playstation 3 may be intended to have the capability to play PC games in addition to it's own game library.
Earlier in the release it is mentioned that "Sony is expected to offer optional hard drives for the PS3 with potential memory capacity of 80 or 120 GB."
